meet the directors
Marc Caruso, President
Marc has been President of Concord-Carlisle Youth Basketball since 2016, also serving as Boys Travel Director until 2022. Marc is passionate about basketball, and strongly believes that the principles learned on the court -- sportsmanship, teamwork, effort, and attitude -- are even more valuable in everyday life. His goal with the CCYB program is to instill these values in the players passing through it while ensuring they have a good time and improve as players.
Thomas Isenberg, Vice President
Tom has been Vice President of Concord-Carlisle Youth Basketball since 2017, also serving as Girls Travel Director until 2022. Tom was head coach for two of his daughters through their time at CCYB, and believes strongly in the mission of the program.
Marianne Maurer, Treasurer
Marianne has been Treasurer of Concord-Carlisle Youth Basketball since 2018, and is responsible for all financial matters related to the organization. A lifelong Concordian, she's had two sons go through the CCYB program.
Catharine Dyer, Clerk
Catharine joined the CCYB Board of Directors as Clerk in 2023, and is responsible for completing all of the regulatory requirements for the organization, including CORI checks.
Chris Ryan, Boys Travel Director
Chris is the Boys Travel Director, and joined the Board of Directors in 2022. He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the boys programming, including scheduling, and is one of the CCYB liaisons to the Metrowest League. He has three sons in the program, and acts as head coach for multiple CCYB boys teams.
Sean Walsh, Girls Travel Director
Sean is the Girls Travel Director, and joined the CCYB Board of Directors in 2022. He coaches both his daughter and son in the program.
Aaron Joncas, Director
Aaron spent 8 years coaching in the CCYB program, and is currently the Athletic Director for Concord-Carlisle High School. He is also a certified referee.
